Some regular, simple maintenance can help keep your refrigerator and freezer working well for years.  If you do just one thing for your home this month, do some refrigerator maintenance:

• If you have a self-defrosting refrigerator, be sure to clean the drain pan out if it can be removed.  If you have any trouble with this you can call us at 1-800-800-8356 or schedule service.
• Use your condenser brush (it’s the one that looks like a big pipe cleaner from the craft store), and clean your cooling fan and condenser coils.  These coils are usually under your refrigerator.
• Wipe down the door seal with warm soapy water.  Make sure it’s not torn.  It should fit the frame snugly.
