Steve Marino’s entrepreneurial dream became a reality nearly three decades ago in a spare bedroom of a small house in San Carlos Park, Florida. The dream has endured and has taken Marino from that tiny bedroom to the 54,000 square-foot building that serves as headquarters of Fort Myers-based Home-Tech, the company he founded in 1981 and continues to be Southwest Florida’s service leader to this day.

Employee-owned Home-Tech is Southwest Florida’s premier specialist in home-service agreements for major appliances and air conditioning. The company also offers appliance sales along with electrical and plumbing service.
