Today your representative, Chet, came to our home to conduct the annual cleaning & maintenance for our two A/C systems.  Based on our past experience, we have found every one of your people to be exceptionally good representatives of your Company.  However, today our experience with Chet established a new “benchmark” that others will have difficulty meeting in the future!

Chet arrived on time and with a pleasant greeting when he introduced himself.  He was well dressed and spoke well.  Throughout the process of cleaning and servicing our A/C system he was careful to put down a sheet to catch any falling dust and dirt and even used a dust rag before opening the hatch in the ceiling of my wife’s closet to make certain that no dirt fell on her clothes.  He kept us informed of his progress and answered all of our questions directly and intelligently.

Pleasure Doing Business

Conscientious of Our Home

Your technician Shaun, just left our home after repairing our dishwasher. He was courteous, informative and very professional. In addition, he presented himself well and was conscientious of our home. He took his shoes off and asked us for a towel before placing a tray on our new kitchen floor. He also presented the service plan to us and  impressed upon us its value…notwithstanding, I had already spent $170 on this service call so the service plan really only cost me $295.00.
It would seem to me that he is a credit to your company. I hope you take care of him appropriately. And no, he’s not related to us…

Quality Employees for Air Conditioning Repair

We had a new Carrier air conditioning system installed.  It was inspected by a Collier County Inspector.  He rejected the installation due to water collecting in the overflow pan under the air handling unit.  The water was due to excessive condensation on the front panels of the unit.

A number of solutions to correct the problem were suggested including one from a Carrier field representative, Mr. Shepley who visited the site accompanied by our employee, Todd B-.  Todd had been assigned to be your lead man for the fix. They made a temporary fix by installing a “splitter” in the duct work to redirect the air flow as well as some additional insulation on the bottom of the front panels.  Todd was to return to make the fix a permanent one, if it worked. It didn’t work. There was water in the pan every day thereafter.

Todd returned along with a helper. They moved the unit and reinstalled much improved boxes on both ends as well as some new insulation supplied by Carrier. That effort worked. The pan has remained dry ever since. The installation was inspected by Collier County and accepted.

Todd is obviously technically oriented, very knowledgeable about air conditioning, persistent and analytical in his problem solving and “laid back” enough to handle your customers so as to assure them that Home-Tech is doing its best to keep them as satisfied customers.  He is an outstanding representative for Home-Tech.

I commend Home-Tech for the quality of its employees.  Their positive attitude toward their work and their desire to service their customers is apparent.  Everyone that I’ve dealt with in your organization, during this problem time, has expressed that desire.

I’ll certainly recommend Home-Tech to my friends and neighbors.

You guys are worth every penny.  You always come quickly and kindly, but Shaun wins the prize.  My air-conditioning didn’t seem to be working when we returned home from a 3 week trip.  I called you to ask for help.  While I was on my cellphone talking to Comcast because my phone wasn’t working either, Shaun called to say he was on his way.  I couldn’t switch over fast enough and I missed his call.  Then it seemed like the air-conditioner was working so I called you back to tell you that.  A few minutes later, Shaun was at the door.  He said, “I was right near here so I stopped to see if things were okay.”  And they weren’t!! So he saved the day and fixed it!  We were able to sleep in comfort.  What a guy! Thank you.

I arrived home last Thursday at 4:00 p.m. to find out I had no air-conditioning.  I called for a service call and was told that a service person would be out by 6:00 p.m. and would call when he was on the way.  Shaun called and said he was on his way. Shaun was very courteous, polite and knowledgeable.  He fixed the problem and it was before 6:00 p.m. which I greatly appreciated as it was very hot in my home.  To have service that quickly when you are so busy with other air-conditioning problems was appreciated so very much.

Committed to Service and Hard Work

Easy to Work With

We returned from a 10 day trip and discovered that our air conditioning unit was not working.  We left it at 80 degrees and the humidistat at 50 when we left.  Called the service # and were pleased that Shawn was on island and would stop in.  I believe that he said that the unit had overheated and after checking everything he hosed it down to cool it off.  It did restart and we cooled enough to sleep that night.

This is the second trip that we have returned with the air conditioning not responding to our cooling zone.  The first time it did very slowly start but we weren’t gone as long.  The unit was working fine.  Shawn was polite and listened to our complaints.  He has been to our house before and is easy to work with.

We placed a call to Home-Tech last evening.  They scheduled someone to check our air conditioning which was not cooling for today.  Shaun came to us, and checked several things on our air unit.  It seems there was not anything he could find.  When we turned it back on it seemed to work.  He told us that his happens from time to time.  Shaun seemed to be very knowledgeable about our unit.

We discussed with him buying a Home-Tech contract.  We had one for years when we lived here before.  He came in and checked our appliances, etc. and we bought the contract from him.
