Service That Works - For 31 Years

The first Home-Tech “office” was located in the San Carlos Park home of Steve Marino and his wife then, Sharon.  In 1984, the company built its first office/warehouse on Youngquist Road in Fort Myers.  By 1989, Home-Tech had expanded its operation.  It designed, built and moved to a new location on U.S. 41.

Regional Office Constructed

When Home-Tech celebrated its 20th year anniversary, the employee owners proudly moved into our current location at 6400 Techster Boulevard in Fort Myers.  This location services Lee, Collier and Charlotte county residents.  It houses our Service Agreement Department, Customer Service Department, Warehouse and Showroom/Store.  Our north territory office is currently located in Bradenton.  It services Manatee and Sarasota county residents.

Service Fleet

In 1982, Home-Tech purchased its second service vehicle.  Currently, Home-Tech has a fleet of over 90 service vehicles.

Apprenticeship Program

A key to Home-Tech’s success is our apprenticeship program.  This began in 1993 and has been going strong for 18 years.  This training program offers employment and career skills to qualified individuals who desire to excel in the air conditioning and appliance industries.

Employee Owned

On January 1, 1996 Home-Tech became an employee owned company with employees having a stake in the company’s success.  According to Steve Marino, Home-Tech has tripled in size since the employee ownership program began.  Today Home-Tech has 131 loyal employees, focused on providing exceptional, quality, personalized service.

Giving Back

Home-Tech started its community involvement over 10 years ago by becoming involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Habitat for Humanity.  In 2010, Home-Tech received the Gulf Shore Life Philanthropist of the Year Award.  For an update on our continuing efforts to serve our community, we invite you to join us on Facebook.

North Office Construction
