Air-Conditioning and Appliance Repair Apprenticeship
Home-Tech is accepting applications from highly motivated individuals interested in a career as a HVAC/Appliance technician, although we have currently filled the positions for our current class. Our accepted applicants will learn the fields of air-conditioning and major appliance service. They will be trained to repair all brands of air-conditioning systems and major appliances.
We are well known for the training provided to our new technicians via our Apprenticeship Program. New technicians are trained at Best Tech University, lead by our full time, in-house trainer. You will be trained in a no-nonsense way which combines classroom study in our state-of-the-art facility, as well as on-the-job training. Best of all, you are hired as a FULL TIME employee.

Candidates Must:

- Have Good Employment History
- Be Clean Cut

- Be Punctual
- Have Good Communication Skills - Bi-lingual a plus
- Be Drug and Alcohol Free
- Have a Clean Driving Record
- Have NO Criminal Record
Hit the Road to Your New Career
New apprentices go through an initial 8 week “boot camp”. Once this is completed, you are issued your own service vehicle. Your education continues weekly to more advanced areas. Over the first two years, apprentices receive over 160 hours of advanced training! All of Home-Tech’s technicians are also NATE certified, and much respected in our industries.
Why So Much Training?
Answer: there is a LOT to learn! First, our technicians learn to repair and install air-conditioning and all the different types of major appliances, (which is always changing due to continual updates in technologies). You will also learn the “Home-Tech Way” of providing concierge-type service to our customers. Our technicians set the standard in southwest Florida for professionalism, care of customers’ homes, friendliness, being respectful, honest and just being all around helpful, “good guys”. Home-Tech has built a reputation in southwest Florida for it’s quality employees. This high standard is required of every technician.
