Apprenticeship Program for HVAC/Appliance Techs

Home-Tech is accepting applications from highly motivated individuals interested in a career as an HVAC/Appliance technician.  (Note:  We have filled the positions for our current class.)

Our accepted applicants will learn the fields of air-conditioning and major appliance service and be trained to repair all brands of air-conditioning systems and major appliances.

Are you interested in learning from the best?  Home-Tech is well known in Southwest Florida for the training provided to our new technicians via our Apprenticeship Program.  Our new technicians are schooled at Best Tech University, located at our Fort Myers Regional Office.  Our trainers and onsite training facility provide the latest in air conditioning and major appliance education.  You will be trained in a simple, no-nonsense way, combining classroom study, as well as on-the-job training.  Best Tech University is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art training center.

Best of all, you are hired as a FULL TIME employee.

Candidates Must:

• Be over 21 Years of Age
• Have Good Employment History
• Be Clean Cut
• Be Organized
• Be Punctual
• Have Good Communication Skills  (Bi-lingual a plus)
• Be Drug and Alcohol Free
• Have a Clean Driving Record
• Have NO Criminal Record

Hit the Road to Your New Career 

New apprentices go through an initial 8 week “boot camp”.  Once this is completed, you are issued your own service vehicle.  Your education continues weekly to more advanced areas.   Over the first two years, apprentices receive over 160 hours of advanced training!  All of Home-Tech’s technicians are also NATE certified, and much respected in our industries.
