“I just had a visit from Home-Tech. I called over the weekend about a service call for our dishwasher, as it seemed to be foaming up in great amounts, and then, wouldn’t clear through the cycle. Home-Tech scheduled the appliance repair for early in the week. Not more than a couple of hours later, our microwave blew out. We called Home-Tech, and they were able to add the microwave to the service call.
When the technician arrived, he checked out the dishwasher first. His first recommendation on this appliance repair was to use a dishwasher cleaner, and double check the age of the dishwasher soap being used. In addition, he told us fresher soap won’t foam, but older dishwasher soap has a tendency to foam. That was excellent advice!
The Home-Tech appliance repair technician then checked our microwave, and it was, in fact dead. A new microwave was needed, so the technician called Home-Tech, and ordered us a brand new one right then. He even scheduled the installation appointment for us!
Not more than a day later, Eduardo came out to perform the appliance installation. He worked quickly and efficiently. As a service agreement member, and being that our microwave was more than 10 years old, we did not qualify for the free replacement. But, we did get a substantial price break on a pro-rated basis. We are extremely happy customers and were pleased not only with the appliance repair, but with the entire experience, as always.“
