Home-Tech has taken the idea of an appliance showroom to a new level. Stop by and visit our exciting, interactive showroom which features fully functional, custom designed, “live” kitchens. There is also an interactive laundry area allowing customers to see the appliances in action. The showroom is filled with the latest in refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, cook tops, microwaves, washers, dryers, water heaters and even wine coolers. Most intriguing, is the Home Comfort Zone, where customers can “test drive” air-conditioning systems, as well as the latest in remote thermostats.

Appliance Showroom – Interactive Kitchens, Laundry Area & Home Comfort Zone
Jon Hayo, manager of the Bradenton Home-Tech location, “We installed “live” kitchens, so our customers could see the appliances, know what they look like when they are on, and hear what they sound like. The idea was to allow customers to see and fully experience the appliances, before making a purchase. It’s a great way to educate people about the products and services that we sell.”
Home-Tech worked closely with the Whirlpool Corporation on the design of the showroom which features Whirlpool®, KitchenAid® and Maytag® appliances. There are also products from each of the brands that we sell, including Bosch® and LG®.
Home Comfort Zone
The Home Comfort Zone is a special area within the showroom equipped with different types of fully functioning air-conditioning systems. “The customers can turn the systems on, hear how loud they are, and actually see how they work. We are using the systems to educate our customers about everything from the base system to the duct work design,” says Hayo. “We also feature the Schlage ComfortLink™ remote thermostats.”
