First came e-mail, and when that didn’t seem speedy enough, then came texting, and now we have to remember to check our Facebook messages. It can be too much – and too digital for some people.

The old-fashioned phone call seems to have gone the way of handwritten letters and welcoming new neighbors with a basket of fruit. Not only that, it seems like so often calls go to the netherworld of voice mail these days – and according to online articles, only a percentage of people bother to even listen to their messages anymore – some complaining that it’s “too time consuming.”

No fancy technology here – just you and another person, actually conversing immediately. And we’ll help you – if your refrigerator is on the fritz, if your air-conditioning is in bad condition, if your washer is on strike, or if your dryer is damp – any appliance troubles and we’re there.

We’d love to help with the other things you spend so much time on hold for, like talking to your health insurance provider, trying to get in touch with your Internet company, or attempting to settle overcharges on your cell phone bill, but we try to concentrate on our specialty – service for your appliances and air conditioning.

We feel pretty good about this innovative “new” concept. In fact, we’re hoping to start a trend – who knows – folks might like talking to a human so much, they may start demanding it. Wouldn’t it be amazing if the cable TV companies followed suit? Oh – and how about credit card companies? This could get so popular that maybe even the Social Security Administration and the IRS would want to get in on the fun. Imagine – not having to block out two hours of your day just to be on hold to ask a question.
