Emergency Service on Holidays
“We have service contract. Refrigerator not cooling. Ice maker not working. Have company for Christmas and need service ASAP.”
So here’s the deal –
Santa is not the only one who can pull off a Christmas miracle in SWFL. This type of service situation would be a covered repair under our Gold Service Agreement at no charge and there would be no service call fee.
Our technicians will show up on a holiday, within a 2 hour service time frame, to make this repair! We offer priority service every day of the year to our Service Agreement Members!

What’s the real story?
With a Gold Plus Service Agreement this would be a covered plumbing repair at no charge and no service call fee. That’s right. Add the Plumbing & Electrical Option and receive the same great service from our Plumbers that you receive from our Technicians.
This came in from a customer relying on a property management company to do their service. If they had a GOLD PLUS this would’ve been a covered repair with a 2 hour time frame given. They would not have had to wait around all day. Our 2 hour time frame is one of the most convenient benefits of being a Service Agreement Member.
“Christmas and a death in the family is enough for a crazy weekend, but adding electrical issues and no outlet power in the bathrooms on top of it, makes it maddening! The electrical outlets in both our bathrooms are tied to the same GFI, and they kept popping all weekend. Called for service this AM, and although we have someone coming, I have NO idea what time they are coming so I have to hang at home until they come. Why does this matter?
An annual air conditioning clean and check is included with Home-Tech Service Agreements and very necessary. The climate in SWFL is another reason why you need a Service Agreement. You MUST have your equipment maintained at least once a year to keep it running correctly. What a great service we offer for someone new to the area or new to their home!
Appliance Repair Service at No Charge
“My washing machine smells like sewer water. Could someone come check it? I do have a service agreement with home tech. Also, while here, could my dishwasher be checked? Sometimes, there appears to be sand on dishes after washing.”
Both of these repairs would be covered under the GOLD Service Agreement with no charge for parts, labor or service call fee. And the technician would handle both requests while there. Our members will tell you that convenience is the #1 reason why you need a Service Agreement.

How can you actually use this?
Property managers love the convenience of turning all repairs of AC and appliances over to us. We do all the work and make them look good to the property owner. You don’t have to have a whole staff of contractors or handymen at your beck and call, you need a Service Agreement because with one call these problems can be solved by Home-Tech.

Here’s the best part –
Not only did we call this Member, service was set up the same day with a 2 hour time frame given for our technician’s arrival. AC “no cool” is considered an emergency for our Service Agreement Members. And we handle emergency service and put these problems to rest. Our Members know they can count on Home-Tech to keep them cool and comfortable. This is just another one of the many reasons why you need a Service Agreement.
Water Heater Repair is Included
“No hot water from my electric hot water heater.”
Our Service Agreements cover water heater repair and when you add the Plumbing and Electric Option even water heater replacement cost (up to $499) is covered.
